Cars, Trees & Traditions Opening Reception

Kick off the holidays at the Walter P. Chrysler Museum’s Cars, Trees & Traditions Opening Reception. Lovers of all marques and holiday traditions are encouraged to celebrate with us. The evening’s festivities will include:
- a fabulous strolling dinner featuring a turkey breast carving station, dessert crepes, beer, wine, soda, and more;
- music by Barry Alan Entertainment, presenting Steve London as “Dean Martin,” and emceed by Top Hat John;
- a grand prize drawing for an Auto Show and Dinner package of 4 tickets to 2013 Detroit Auto Show and a $100 gift certificate to Vinsetta Garage; plus
- door prizes and more!
Doors open at 6:00pm; Strolling dinner from 6:00pm - 8:30pm.
Tickets are $35 per person/$30 per WPCM members. Cocktail attire is requested.

Cars, Trees & Traditions Exhibit
November 17 – December 30, 2012
The Museum’s annual holiday exhibit explores seasonal celebrations in America and how traditions evolved along with the automobile through pairing our collection of vehicles with 23 historically authentic and themed evergreen trees. This year Cars, Trees & Traditions will be joined by Fashion and the Automobile – An Exhibit in Ten Eras, which will enhance the exhibit displays with historical fashions, accessories, and original works by automotive artists. A large model train display on loan from the Stoney Creek Model Railroad Club will operate on weekends.
Museum hours: 10:00am – 5:00pm Tuesday through Saturday; Noon – 5:00pm Sunday; closed Mondays
